This presentation is for faculty interested in or currently using online assignments and grades in Canvas. The level is intermediate to advanced. Participants will have opportunities to apply the information to their own courses and assessments.
We will take an in-depth look at creating and assessing assignments and at managing grades in Canvas.
In particular, participants will learn about:
- Options for assignment submissions
- Different ways of providing feedback to students
- How to streamline grading with a rubric
- How to weight grades with categories
- How to manage gradebook columns and grade visibility
- How students view grades and feedback.
